Tickets for Peabody Opera House Grand Opening On Sale Soon

Opera House reopensThe Peabody Opera House will officially reopen on October 1 with a huge lineup. Aretha Franklin and Jay Leno will perform on the opening night. Tickets for the event go on sale on August 5, and they will surely sell out quick.

The October 1 show has been entitled “An Encore 77 Years in the Making,” and will feature the legendary Aretha Franklin and Jay Leno. Tickets go sale next Friday at 10am on Ticketmaster, the Scottrade Center box office or by phone at 800.745.3000. Tickets range from $75 to $150. Your tickets will also benefit the John L. Trotter Multiple Sclerosis Center.

The Kiel Opera House closed its doors in May 1991 with a performance by the St. Louis Philharmonic Orchestra. Two decades later, funding has been gathered, the opera house has been renovated, and the Peabody Opera House will reopen with a fantastic event.
