Children just love seeing all the animals in the zoo, and if you have kids, why not take them to what Parenting Magazine and Zagat call the nation’s best zoo, The St. Louis Zoo. Great exhibits, interactive fun and one of the greatest collections of animals in the country make the Zoo a great attraction, but the most attractive part of the zoo might be its free admission.
Here are some of the amazing exhibits that make the St. Louis Zoo a must see.
- Children’s Zoo. This isn’t the run-of-the-mill petting zoo. See mole rats, pet a goat, watch the meerkats and meet a kangaroo that lives in a tree. Your kids can crawl, pet and climb their way through four distinct biomes as they learn about their native animals.
- Penguin & Puffin Coast. Watch 4 species of penguins, two types of puffins and a variety of water birds swim and dive in breath taking habitats.
- Sea Lion show. Let the sea lion superstars perform for you and your family. The summer season for the sea lion show begins later this month, but you might be able to catch a pre-season show on Saturday or Sunday now.
There is plenty to see at the St. Louis Zoo every day, and there is much more to see and do in the greater St. Louis area. Call Linda Frierdich to see how you and your family can move to this great area.
